House Panel Advances US Bitcoin Reserve Bill With 20-Year Hold

A House committee advanced legislation that would codify the existing U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and prohibit sales of qualifying federal bitcoin for 20 years. The amended bill would place the current executive policy in federal law.
